Firefighters cut toddler free from biscuit tin

Fire crews were called to a house to rescue a toddler who had got their head stuck - in a BISCUIT TIN.

Emergency services attended a property in Peterchurch, Herefordshire, after the hungry tot became "well and truly lodged" in the variety tin of biscuits.

Firefighters used tin snips and pliers to free the two-year-old child during the bizarre incident on Tuesday evening.

West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics also checked over the the youngster, who was fortunately uninjured.

Sharing an image of the biscuit tin on social media, Peterchurch Fire Station wrote: "First call last night in new lockdown measures.

"Called to property whereby a two year old had managed to get a metal biscuit tin well and truly lodged on their head.

"Tin snips and pliers were used to cut it free and child was checked over by @OFFICIALWMAS #notjustfires."
