Firefighters say a blaze that engulfed two buildings Saturday in southwest suburban New Lenox is under control.

About 4:30 p.m., crews were called to the fire in the 20600 block of Amherst Court and found two buildings fully engulfed in flames, New Lenox Fire officials said.

One of the buildings was completely destroyed, while the second sustained significant fire damage, officials said. Will County Hazardous Materials teams also responded to the scene to ensure run-off from the fire is properly contained.
