Firefighters were called to a dramatic car fire on a residential street early this morning.
A car went up in flames in Turney Street, The Meadows just before 6am on December 27.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene.
An eyewitness who did not wish to be named said: "I called 999 at 5.58am after hearing a car alarm.
"It looks like it was a short circuit."
He said eventually "the whole car was burnt out." He said the debris has since been removed from the street.
