Witnesses are being asked to come forward after a spate of vehicle fires in neighbouring streets in Sunderland.
Firefighters were called to separate car and van fires in the early hours of Thursday morning in the Grangetown area and crews returned again on Monday evening to put out another vehicle fire.
The fires are being investigated by police but at this stage it is not know if officers are treating them as connected.
Sunderland Central and Farringdon fire crews were called to a car on fire on the driveway of Leechmere Road at 1.45am on Thursday.
They took just over 30 minutes to put out the blaze and make the car safe but the Sunderland Central crew were later called out to a van fire.
This was on nearby Westminster Terrace, where emergency services were called just before 6am.
Then on Monday evening, firefighters were called out to Grangetown again where another vehicle was blazing.
The Sunderland Central crew were called at 11.50pm on Monday to Victoria Avenue and left after just over 20 minutes.
Police officers are aware of the fires and have asked for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "At 12.08am on Tuesday we received a report of a car on fire at an address in Victoria Avenue, Sunderland.
"If you can assist police then call 101 quoting log 7 070120 or report online at the Northumbria Police website."
Anyone with information on the car fire on Leechmere Road is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 79 020120 and quote reference 154 020120 for the Westminster Terrace fire.
