Firefighters called to street near Old Market Square to respond to 'smell of burning'

Fire engines arrived just off Old Market Square after a number of reports of a burning smell.

The incident in Long Row happened on Sunday, September 15, at 12.09pm.

Fire engines from London Road arrived at the scene.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to reports of a smell of burning at a premise on Long Row in Nottingham.

"Crews investigated and found a small fire which was out upon the arrival of crews.

"Crews isolated the electrics."
