Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue crews from Retford, Newark and Warsop were called to the scene on Thursday, August 26.

The rescue, which took 50 minutes, meant that Clyde the horse was unhurt - he was checked over by a vet after he had been rescued from the ditch.
