Firefighters were called to reports of a building fire in Stapleford - but the incident turned out to be an 'out of control bonfire'.
Two engines and an aerial ladder platform were called to the incident, in Derby Road, at 12.02pm on Saturday (June 27).
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: "We did originally turn out to what was believed to be a building fire, hence the number of appliances. It turned out to be a small out of control bonfire.
"It was quite a short-lived incident."
There were no injuries and firefighters have left the scene.
