Fire fighters have been working through the night to battle a major blaze near Innerleithen Golf Club as the inferno continues to rage on.
Crews were called out just after 2am this morning to reports of a woodland wildfire next to the club.
Helicopters have been going back and forth with bags of water in a bid to extinguish the blaze.
Efforts to battle the fire have been ongoing for nearly 12 hours.
A large area of the woodland and scrubland is on fire as the golf club has closed for the day to allow fire fighters to set up base.

In a post on Facebook, the Clubhouse said: "Due to a fire in the hills surrounding the golf course, and the fire service's need to use the clubhouse as a base of operations, we will be closed for the day.
"We will be resuming service tomorrow from 10am unless otherwise stated."

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 2.32am this morning and we mobilised six appliances to Innerleithen Golf Club.
"We are still in attendance there fighting a wildfire.
