Firefighters battling blaze near Clydebank

Firefighters are currently battling a blaze on the Kilpatrick Hills, near Clydebank.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to the large grass fire on Cochno Road around 6.40pm Monday evening.

Smoke can be seen across Glasgow.

A spokeswoman for SFRS said: "Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances after we received the first call at 6.41pm - firefighters are working to extinguish the fire."
