Firefighters battled two-alarm blaze in South Chicago

Firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze Sunday morning in South Chicago.

The fire began a little before 4:40 a.m. near East 89th Street and South Houston Avenue, impacting multiple buildings, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, officials said.

The fire was extinguished about 6:30 a.m., according to the department.
