Firefighters battle late night blaze at Bo'ness Bowling Club

Firefighters spent the night battling a massive fire at Bo'ness Bowling Club.

Emergency services were called to the building just after 11pm last night.

Pictures and video footage on social media show smoke and flames flying into the air and lighting up the sky.

It's the second time in just over a year the club has gone on fire.

No-one was injured in the inferno.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.06pm on Thursday, April 15 to reports of a fire affecting a derelict bowling club on Grange Terrace, Bo'ness.

"Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene where crews worked to extinguish the fire.

"There were no reported casualties.

"Firefighters left after making the area safe."
