Up to 25 firefighters are tackling a blaze in a plush Edinburgh suburb this evening.
Four crews and a height appliance were dispatched to Bruntsfield Place shortly before 8pm.
Photos emerged on social media of firefighters outside a coffee shop.
One passer-by John Vassiliou posted on Twitter: "Bad fire at Project Coffee."
The coffee shop was closed at the time and there were no further details as to the cause of the fire or the extent of any damage.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "A fire was located in the basement of a building - we're still fighting it."
