Restaurant diners had a bird’s-eye view of a yacht blaze drama at Troon Yacht Haven on Sunday night.
The fire on the tiny craft gutted it, with flames shooting in the air.
One mariner aboard had to be treated for hand and leg burns as the fire broke out before 10.30pm.
Diners at the Scotts restaurant saw the flames and “thick black smoke” as the yacht burnt out.
Ayr and Ardrossan coastguard teams secured the site and fire fighters used a water rescue boat to help deal with it.
