Fire struck out at Naperville strip mall

A fire was reported July 10, 2019 at a strip mall in west suburban Naperville.

Fire crews responded quickly to strike out a fire Wednesday at a strip mall in west suburban Naperville.

About 10:25 p.m., the Naperville Fire Department received a call about smoke coming from a business at a strip mall in the 1100 block of East Ogden, Naperville fire officials said.

A large response team arrived to the strip mall minutes later and found a visible fire in the kitchen of one of the businesses located there, officials said.

Fire crews had the blaze under control within 10 minutes and damage to the business was minimal, officials said.

No one was injured in the fire, officials said. The cause is under investigation by the Naperville Fire Investigation Team.
