Fire service called to Nottingham city centre Greggs

Several fire engines were called out after a false alarm at a Nottingham city centre shop.

Multiple fire engines from Stockhill station were called to Greggs on Upper Parliament Street at around 8.10am on October 7.

At least three fire service vehicles were at the scene as of this morning, as shown by eyewitness pictures.

Nottingham Fire and Rescue Service explained why they were at the scene.

A Nottingham Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "The fire service were called at 8.10am to Parliament Street.

"Stockhill fire station were in attendance but it was a false alarm and there was no action taken at the scene."
