Fire rips through caravan and garden shed in Ibrox

Firefighters were scrambled to Ibrox after a caravan caught fire.

Two appliances were sent to the blaze on Skene Road around 11.20pm on Sunday evening.

The fire then spread to a nearby garden shed.

Luckily there was no casualties as a result of the incident.

A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue, said: "We were alerted at at 11.23pm on Sunday, June 15 to reports of a fire involving a caravan at Skene Road, Glasgow.

"Two fire appliances were mobilised to the scene, and crews extinguished a fire which had also spread to a nearby garden shed. There were no reported casualties. Crews left at 12.43am."
