A person has been injured after a fire broke out on a 15ft yacht in Troon last night.
Coastguard and fire crews were called to the scene at around 10.30pm last night after reports of a blaze in Troon Marina.
Ayr and Ardrossan coastguard teams rushed to the scene where the boat was well alight alongside the floating pontoons at Troon Sailing Club .
As a result of the fire one person suffered burns to their hands and legs.

The coastguard remained on the scene until the flames were extinguished.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At 10.26pm police were made aware of a boat on fire in the harbour in Troon."
Station manager Rodney Anderson for SFRS said: "The Scottish Fire and Rescue service was alerted at 10.26pm on Friday to reports of a fire on a vessel in Troon.
"Four appliances responded to Troon Harbour.
"A 15ft yacht was alight when they arrived.
"Due to the yacht being tied to a pontoon with no surrounding land, a water rescue boat was required. The fire was extinguished at 11.30pm."
