TORONTO — Fire officials say a woman is dead after a house fire in Toronto's west end Tuesday night.
They say they received a call for the fire at around 8 p.m.
Firefighters say a man was able to escape the house, but the woman was found inside.
They say the woman was without vital signs when they pulled her out of the home and later died in hospital.
Officials say they were able to quickly knock down the fire.
The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the incident.
