Fire in Broadmeadow unit

Four fire units were called to a blaze in a flat in Belford Street, Broadmeadow on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at 5.45pm.

Fire fighters quickly extinguished the fire, which was contained to the rear unit.

All persons in the building were accounted for.

Investigations into the cause of the blaze are continuing.
