Locals started an online fundraiser - with more than £400 given to it so far.

People have also started donating essential items - such as clothing and toiletries - as well as toys for Narra's three-year-old daughter.

He said: "We have a good relationship with the locals and we've worked hard to build a good customer base.

"I have worked hard to make a living here and pay my taxes, as has my wife.

"Everyone has helped me, the council, the locals so I want to thank them."

Gemma Hopkins, who set up a JustGiving page to help the family, said she was touched by their plight.

"As a mother of three boys I can't imagine how scary it was especially with a child involved," she added.

"I set this page up to show support, care and compassion to the family. In these circumstances money can help them just as much as clothes and toiletries."

People have also offered free accommodation, clothes and toys for the family.

In the meantime, investigations in the cause of the blaze is still continuing - which Narra said was the second at the premises in the past four weeks.

He added: "I don't know what I've done wrong for this to happen, I'm grateful we're all alive and we'll take each day as it comes.

"I'm shattered, it has been an absolute nightmare for us."

However, he added the "overwhelming support" had helped massively.
