FIRE fighters managed to save a family home after a blaze ignited in the attached garage.
Emergency services were called about 7.20pm Sunday to reports of a house alight at Long Point Singleton.
Emergency services arrived and found the fire was contained to the garage. Fire & Rescue used a quick cut saw to gain entry to the garage and were able to stop the fire from spreading.

The contents of the garage were totally destroyed, with some fire and smoke damage to the house. No one was injured in the blaze.
Police will now investigate the cause of the fire.
