EMERGENCY services are tackling a blaze at an industrial estate in North Lanarkshire, with police urging people to avoid the area.
Firefighters are reportedly on the scene after a blaze erupted at the Biggar Road Industrial Estate in Motherwell.
Police have said that Biggar Road is shut at its junction with Bellside Road due to the ongoing incident.
The force has also urged motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services are dealing with a fire at Biggar Road Industrial Estate, Motherwell.
“The road is closed at the junction with Bellside Road.
“Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area.”
