Fire engines and ambulances called crash at junction of Mansfield and Hucknall Road

Police, fire engines and ambulances were seen at a crash at Mansfield Road and Hucknall Road junction.

A collision involving a car hitting the central reservation on Wednesday 15 September caused Mansfield Road to be closed off and bus routes diverted.

The incident happened around six pm and the police are still at the scene monitoring traffic and diverting it.

One casualty was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service were called to the scene to make the area safe.

The Brown, Lime and Purple lines were severely disrupted due to the crash but are now running normally.

All buses effected are now operating as usual.
