Fire damaged three-storey house could be yours for just £8,000

A three-storey terraced house in the Cynon Valley is up for auction for a bargain price at the end of this month.

The house, on Brynmair Road, Aberdare, comes with a catch, it's a fire-ravaged shell which is so dangerous auctioneers can't go inside to view it.

The guide price on the house starts at £8,000 and the online auction takes place on April 30.

Paul Fosh, owner of Paul Fosh Auctions, said: "It's fair to say the property could do with some work. But, in the right hands it could be a very good project. It's clear to see that the property has suffered some considerable fire damage in the past which has badly affected the front and inside of the property.

"We haven't been able to inspect inside the property as the building, in its current condition,  is unsafe however we believe there's a lower ground floor kitchen, a lounge on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the first. There is hard standing and garden to the rear with views over the nearby valley."

Mr Fosh added: "It would seem ideally suited to a builder with the skills to convert the property back to its former state in a popular well established residential location."

PaulFosh Auctions has been forced to take all its business online due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
