Multiple fire engines were raced to the Caprington Estate on Saturday at around 7.05pm.

Crews were joined by police cars and an ambulance at the scene of the fire at the two-storey building.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed today that there were no reported casualties as a result of the blaze.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.05pm on Saturday, June 20 to reports of a farm building on fire at the Caprington Estate, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.

“Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene, where crews worked through the night to extinguish a well-developed fire within a two-storey building.

“There were no reported casualties. Firefighters left after making the area safe.”

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
