Nobody is believed to have been injured in the fire.

A local resident told the M.E.N that the road has been blocked off.

A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 5.10pm on Saturday 1 May, firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a home on Bradfield Road, Stretford.

“Four fire engines from Stretford, Sale, Salford and Eccles fire stations, as well as the aerial ladder platform from Stretford, arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three hose reels to extinguish the fire, which involved the roof space of two semi-detached properties.

“GMFRS crews remain in attendance.”
