Fire crews sent to scene after car collides with tree in Hucknall


Fire crews were called to the scene of a crash on Waterloo Road in the Linby area of Hucknall this evening (Tuesday, November 23) after a car collided with a tree.

The accident happened at around 9.30pm and involved a single car with a male passenger. The man managed to escape the vehicle before fire crews arrived, and was treated by the ambulance service who are yet to comment on his condition.

Fire crews have said that they "'made the scene safe before leaving".

The Linby area is in the north of Hucknall, and the crash occurred close to The Ranges Park, a large public recreation ground which has a number of walking trails and is popular with locals.
