An ambulance and police cars were also on the scene as the incident was brought under control.

It is not known if anyone was inside the building, which has been earmarked for demolition under Renfrewshire Council's West End regeneration plans.
One resident told Renfrewshire Live: "Around four fire crews, an ambulance with police cars and vans turned up at the bottom of Clavering Street before 6pm.
"They seemed to be investigating a fire in the old building with the pound sign that's been empty for a while, using ladders to enter the side of the building and back.

"One member of the public told me he spotted smoke coming from the front of the building and as we spoke we saw light smoke coming from the roof tiles, but it was well under control."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted.
