Fire crews race to blaze this morning that left West Lothian house gutted

Fire crews raced to a blaze at a house in Livingston this morning.

Four appliances and a ladder vehicle were needed to bring the blaze at Templar Rise in Dedridge under control.

No casualties have been reported at the moment but the house has been gutted in the fire.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9.17am on Tuesday 1 March to reports of a fire affecting a semi-detached property on Templar Rise, Livingston.

"Operations Control mobilised four appliances and a height vehicle to extinguish the fire and crews remain in attendance.

"There are no reported casualties at this time."
