Fire crews raced to a blaze last night as a historic building in Dundee went up in flames.
The alarm was raised shortly before 9:30pm on Saturday night amid reports of a fire at Sluice House, in Clatto Country Park.
One fire engine was called into battle the inferno as smoke was seen pouring from the B-listed building last night.
It's thought the building - known locally as 'The Round House' - was left badly damaged, with the roof "completely gone".
Local Facebook page Friends of Clatto wrote: "The Round House on fire tonight.
"Fire Brigade in attendance. Such a shame.
"This is a B Listed building. Looks like the roof is completely gone."
Locals have been left shocked by the fire, with residents reporting smelling smoke in the area last night.
One said: "Wondered where the smoke was coming from last night laird Street was full of smoke."
"Thought we could smell smoke. Such a shame", added another.
No one is understood to have been injured in the blaze.
One resident commented: "Omg who would do that? I smelled smoke last night but thought someone had a wood burner going?"
It's unclear how the fire was started.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One fire appliance was mobilised to Sluice House on Clatto Country Park at 21:27pm on Saturday 17 July."
It's not yet clear if the fire, which was extinguished around 10pm, is being treated as suspicious.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
