A blaze erupted in a kitchen of a block on flats on Hotwell Road this evening.
Firefighters rushed to the address after it was reported at around 8.28pm on Tuesday, October 22.
Residents had managed to extinguished the blaze before crews arrived.
An Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We were called at 20.28. Crews from Temple and Bedminster attended
"The fire was out on arrival.
"The cause of the fire is thought to be accidential."
He confirmed no-one required medical treatment following the incident.
