Fire crews called to tackle van on fire in West Belfast

Fire crews were called to deal with a fire in West Belfast on Wednesday.

Officers from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service were called to deal with a van that was on fire in Andersonstown Road area.

They arrived shortly before 6:45pm on March 18th, to find the vehicle well alight and used two appliances reel to extinguish the flames.

A spokesperson for NIFRS told Belfast Live: "NIFRS responded to a van on fire on Wednesday 18 March 2020..

"Two fire appliances attended the incident.

"The incident was under control by 7pm."
