Firefighters had to be called out to Glasgow's west end after locals reportedly attempted to burn rubbish.
Emergency services were called to Cedar Street in Hillhead around 10pm on Sunday night after a blaze was started in a residential area.
Locals watched on from their windows as the fire threatened to get out of control before being extinguished by crews.
Pictures shared with Glasgow Live show the fire burning in close proximity to parked cars and trees.

It is currently not illegal to burn your own waste but it is advised that people dispose of their waste in the most sustainable way possible. If a fire becomes a nuisance or is a health risk, it is possible to be investigated.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 10.03pm on Sunday, 5 June to reports of a refuse fire on Cedar Court, Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.
"There were no reported casualties."
