Fire crews are battling a wild fire next to the motorway on the outskirts of Glasgow.
The fire has taken hold in the shrubbery at the side of the M80 northbound between Junctions 3 and 4 near Moodiesburn.
Photos from Traffic Scotland's live traffic camera nearby show two fire engines at the scene.
Traffic Scotland have advised road users to take care and slow down on approach.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We were alerted at 3.39pm this afternoon to reports of a fire in the open near the northbound M80 motorway, between Kirkintilloch and Mollinsburn.
"Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene, where firefighters were met by an area of grass on fire.
"Crews currently remain on the scene working to extinguish the fire.
"There are no reported casualties."
