Fire crews are battling a blaze at a Scots chippy after being called out shortly before 6pm.
Emergency services are currently at the scene on High Street, Pittenweem, after a popular chip shop went up in flames.
Three casualties were taken away from the scene in ambulances as the blaze was extinguished.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed four appliances and two specialist resource units had been dispatched.
Photographs from the scene show dark clouds of smoke billowing out of the property as the flames take hold.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.43pm on Tuesday, August 30 about a fire at a commercial property in High Street, Pittenweem. Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and one height vehicle to the scene.
"Crews extinguished the fire and ensured the area was safe before leaving at 2.02am. Three casualties were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.” Ends
Police Scotland confirmed they were assisting with traffic management in the area while fire fighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
People are being urged to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the fire.
