Fire engines were seen on Leamington Avenue last night after residents saw black smoke coming from nearby.
One resident told the ECHO: "I am not 100% sure what happened but there was a lot of smoke coming from behind the houses on the Leamington Avenue side of Leamington Road at about 9pm yesterday.

"The Fire engine turned up and firemen at first looked down people's driveways then set up the fire engine at Leamington Avenue. They attached hoses to standpipes in the road and went up Leamington Avenue with them."
The fire is understood to have come from a collection of mixed waste on open ground.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service told the ECHO: "This was a relatively small fire involving a quantity of mixed waste on open ground, fire crews were alerted at 8.47pm and on scene at 8.53pm, with one fire engine in attendance.
"The fire was quickly extinguished and firefighters left the scene at 9.33pm."
