Fire breaks out at Glasgow's St Enoch Hotel

Fire crews have raced to the city centre after a fire broke out in a hotel this evening.

Four appliances are at the scene as firefighters battled the blaze at St Enoch's Hotel on Howard Street. The alarm was raised shortly after 8pm.

A spokeswoman for the Fire Service confirmed they are still in attendance.

The road is currently shut off at Dixon Street and diversions have been put in place.
