Fire breaks out at Alloa home as emergency services race to scene

Fire crews scrambled to a residential area in Clackmannshire after a blaze broke out at a property.

Officers raced to Pine Grove in Alloa after the alarm was raised at around 5pm.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed they were in attendance at the incident.

Police Scotland told the Record that officers were called to assist with traffic management while fire crews tackled the blaze.

Cops were alerted to the inferno just after 5pm.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured as a result of the blaze.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: "We were called at 5.10pm to reports of a fire at a property in Pine Grove,

"Officers were there to assist with traffic management."
