Fire at Chatuchak market under control

A fire hit Chatuchak market on Sunday night but there were no reports of death.

The Traffic Police and Jor Sor 100 traffic radio stations reported the fire around 9.15pm at the famouse market in Chatuchak district.

Jor Sor 100 said firefighters already contolled the blaze one hour later.

Rescue volunteers said on their Twitter account that 30 shops were damaged and 2 persons were injured.

The start of the fire was at Gate 1 of the market. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
