Lucknow: FIR lodged in Lakhimpur violence case against Union Minister Ajay Mishra's son for allegedly running a car over protesting farmers in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri. Several other people have also been named in the First Information Report (FIR).
As many as eight people died in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident on Sunday.
Several Opposition leaders from various parties including Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa are also scheduled to visit Lakhimpur Kheri today.
