Reported Chelsea target Federico Chiesa has been told by Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso he can leave the club for the right price.
The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Fiorentina this summer, with the Blues reportedly among the front-runners to secure his signature.
Manchester United have also been mooted as a possible destination, while Inter Milan and Juventus have been said to have entered the fray.
Commisso was asked about the futures of both Chiesa and midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli, who has been linked with the likes of Tottenham and Everton.
According to Football Italia, Commisso told a press conference: “If Chiesa wants, then he can leave, but only for the figure that we set.
“It's a different matter for Gaetano Castrovilli, as he told me that he wants to remain in Florence.
“If Chiesa does go, then Castrovilli can have the number 10 jersey.”
Commisso’s comments come after Chiesa apparently seemed to rule out a move this summer, saying he needed time in order to become a “more complete player” before thinking about moving to a bigger club.
'There are no negotiations, there is Fiorentina,' he told Corriere dello Sport.
'I focus on working every day, achieving immediate objectives, first and foremost securing safety. We just hope to get back to playing and the rest will follow.
'My objective is to improve in general, not just on a technical level, because I am the first to acknowledge that I need to become a more complete player.'
