Fiorentina snub Bobby Duncan in first-team announcement after move from Liverpool

Bobby Duncan sealed a move from Liverpool to Fiorentina amid a series of astonishing claims about the Reds - including that he was being held against his wil.

The 18-year-old striker , who has played six times for the Reds U23s, was seemingly unhappy about his lack of opportunities at Anfield and so moved to the Serie A in search of regular first-team football .

Duncan's new Italian side signed a host of players during the summer transfer window including Kevin Prince-Boateng and Franck Ribery.

La Viola posted a video on Twitter to celebrate all of their new first-team arrivals in one video - but they did not include Duncan.

The frontman has also broken his silence after securing a move to Fiorentina from Liverpool.

The teenager joined the Serie A outfit for a fee of around €2million (£1.8m), with a 20% sell-on clause included in the terms.

The transfer came after Duncan was caught up in a social media storm that saw a number of astounding claims made by his agent Saif Rubie on Twitter which included a string of allegations against Liverpool and sporting director Michael Edwards.
