Finn Harps v St. Pat's postponed due to waterlogged pitch in Ballybofey

Relegation threatened Finn Harps will have to wait a week before they welcome St. Pat's to Ballybofey after the weather got in the way today.

Tonight's clash between the two sides has been postponed and rescheduled for 8 pm next Friday after a waterlogged pitch at Finn Park, with more rain expected today, was deemed unplayable by league officials.

Ollie Horgan's men could find themselves up to seven points adrift from safety by the time a ball is kicked next week as Waterford's clash with Derry City tonight is still set to go ahead.

The Saints, on the hunt for a new manager, will be the happiest of the two sides - the added week will give them plenty of time to regroup after Harry Kenny's resignation last Friday.
