Finland's amazing run has taken them into the semi-finals after beating Denmark 2-1 at Bloomfield Road. The Finns pulled off the shock of the tournament by even qualifying after putting paid to Russia's ambitions in a play-off for a place in England.
I admit it, I haven't backed them at all so far, but they've more than proved their worth here and I'm looking forward to seeing them in the semis [I'll be covering both Wednesday's and Thursday's matches and I'll be at the final on Sunday, so do stick with me, even if the St George's flag has had to disappear under your bed for another year].
Finland hit the Danes early with goals from Laura Kalmari and Heidi Kackur inside the first quarter of an hour. Cathrine Paaske Sorensen pulled one back for Denmark just before half time, but it wasn't enough to salvage their spot at the top of the group.
