Find your nearest Leeds polling station for Thursday's local election

On Thursday May 2, voters will go to the polls to decide who should run Leeds City Council in the 2019 local election.

Polling stations across the city will be manned between 7am and 10pm to allow people to vote to elect a councillor for their ward.

The winning candidate will represent that area on the council for the next four years.

There are 180 candidates, from a range of political parties, will be vying for 33 seats at this year's election.

Turnouts at local elections are usually relatively low compared to general elections, and last year only 34.4 per cent of the 576,000 people who were eligible to vote in Leeds made a trip to the polls.

To help you cast your vote this Thursday, we've got an interactive tool that will show you where the nearest polling station in Leeds is to your home.

Your assigned polling station will be the one closest to your residential address.

You can use our widget below to figure out where you need to go to cast your vote on Thursday.
