A new website has been launched which will tell you if any supermarket close to your home have grocery delivery times available.
The site searches shops such as Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and Iceland based on your postcode and will tell you when a slot is available.
That means you can visit one site and search once, rather than having to trawl through all the sites looking for one with availability.
Shopping Slot was founded by 22-year-old Jason Moore and will soon cover local companies as well as supermarket, reports The Echo.
Jason said: "‘I was spending hours online trying to reserve spaces, so I designed a website which automated the process.
"Initially, this was for my family and friends, but I thought it would be nationally beneficial for those elderly, vulnerable and isolating."
If there are no current slot available users have the option to upgrade to be emailed as soon as one becomes available.
Jason's business partner Sabrina Stocker said: "My grandparents couldn’t leave the house and my family are isolating so we couldn’t deliver her food shop this week.
"Using Shopping Slot, I was able to book her a next day delivery slot from Iceland and was so grateful. I want Shopping Slot to become a national brand to help others in need."
