The draw for the UEFA Champions League group stage takes place today with 32 teams set to battle it out for a place in the final in May.
Manchester City will look to go one step further than last season’s competition, following their 1-0 final defeat to Chelsea.
German midfielder Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the game in what was the club’s first-ever Champions League final and the furthest they had progressed under manager Pep Guardiola.
City will still be in pot one for this year’s draw, following on from their Premier League triumph last season, which puts them alongside the likes of Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
However, there are a number of elite European sides to look out for in pot two, including Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid and tournament favourites Paris Saint-Germain.
And with the draw coming up, you can see who City could face in this year’s group stage as well as fellow English sides Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
