Free cancer support is coming to Nottinghamshire.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s mobile service, Betty, will be visiting Sutton-in-Ashfield, New Ollerton, Mansfield, Worksop and Retford.
It will be in the area from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 7.
Specialists will be on hand to answer questions and provide information, encouraging anyone with worries relating to cancer to stop by and have a chat.
Details of the visit:
- Monday, February 3 - Sutton-in-Ashfield – outside Asda - 9am – 3pm
- Tuesday, February 4 - New Ollerton – outside Tesco superstore - 9am – 3pm
- Wednesday, February 5 - Mansfield – Tesco Extra Chesterfield Road - 9am – 3pm
- Thursday, February 6 - Worksop – outside B&M Bridge Place - 9am -3pm
- Friday, February 7 - Retford – Market Square - 9am – 3pm
Caroline Lewis, Macmillan Information and Support Specialist on the unit, said: "It’s really important that people living with cancer are able to access the financial advice and support they are entitled to, so they can focus on what’s most important: their health.
"We can help signpost people to Macmillan benefits advisers who can provide free, confidential advice.”
