During the festive season, its a pain trying to remember when your bins are going to be emptied.
But fear not, we have you covered. Below are all the details of when to leave your bins out for collection.
In South Lanarkshire, bin collections will be carried out as normal on December and 23/24 & 30/31.
There will be NO collections on Wednesday 25 & Thursday 26 December - collections will be two days later for the rest of the week.
There will also be NO collections on Wed January 1 - collections will be one day later for the rest of the week.
In East Renfrewshire, there will be no brown bin collections w/c December 23 and no collections on Christmas Day. If your refuse (grey) bin was due to be collected on Christmas Day, you should leave at the kerb and it will be collected in the following days.
Week beginning December 30, our green bin will be collected as normal, but there may be a delay with brown bins. Please leave your bin at the kerb until it is collected.
Christmas Tree recycling will begin on Monday January 6 – if you’d like yours collected, you should leave it at the kerb. If your tree fits in your brown bin (with the lid closed), you can also place it in there for collection.
