Arsenal are looking to add talent to their squad this summer and the chase of Kieran Tierney is at the forefront of the club's mind.
However, the Gunners' latest attempt to sign the Celtic defender appears to have gone sour again, according to reports.
It's said that an improved bid for the left-back of £25million has been rejected by the Scottish giants.
The Scottish Sun are reporting that the proposed structure of the deal is what led to the rejection of the offer, with there believed to have been "too many add-ons".
Celtic boss Neil Lennon has said: "Arsenal are aware of what we value the player at. He’s on a long-term contract, he’s an asset and we don’t want to sell him.
"It’s going to have to take a lot more than what they’ve offered the first time around to give us a decision to make.
"I’ve had a chat with him as it can be a difficult decision and bit unsettling. I’ve been there myself so it’s important that we support him regardless of the outcome."
It's widely expected that Arsenal will return to the table with a third offer after adjusting the terms but that has not stopped fans reacting to the second bid.
Arsenal fans have responded in unison when it comes to one aspect of this transfer saga - the length of the protracted negotiations. Meanwhile, the Gunners' supporters have also suggested that their team should move on and find another target.
Gabriel Martinelli remains the Gunners' only acquisition for next season after the 18-year-old signed from Brazilian club Ituano for £5.3million.
